Janelle Gillis
LCSWA

As a therapist, I value being able to hold a safe space for individuals to “heal and feel”, while supporting them through uncomfortable change. I enjoy and have experience collaborating with young and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relational trauma, grief and loss, self esteem issues and those simply having a hard time adjusting to life changes. My specialty interests are anxiety, relational trauma, post graduate (HS and College) depression for young adults, and professional burnout.
I utilize multiple therapeutic approaches and modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, Motivational Enhancement therapy, Strengths based therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I am pursuing DBT certification, certified in motivational interviewing, trained in ASAM assessment. At this time I am supporting individuals ages 18+.
I look forward to being able to offer a positive perspective and a non-biased outlook to help support you on your journey to your therapeutic and personal goals!
